1. Scope & Definitions
  • Raw Market Data: Unaltered price quotes, trade prints, order-book snapshots, depth-of-market data and other feeds supplied by licensed exchanges or vendors.
  • Derived Data: Data generated by transforming Raw Market Data such that original ticks cannot be reconstructed.
  • Non-Display Use: Processing Market Data for calculation or valuation without displaying it to end-users.
  • Redistribution: Providing Market Data or Derived Data to third parties outside your account or organisation.
2. Licence & Permitted Uses
  • Personal Use: Users may view and analyse Market Data for personal, non-commercial use within the Service.
  • Derived Data Creation: Users may create Derived Data for display on the Service subject to this Policy.
  • API Access: API usage is governed by Developer Terms and subject to limits and applicable fees.
3. Redistribution Rules
  • Raw Market Data: Redistribution is prohibited without a valid vendor agreement and prior notification to Followme.
  • Derived Data: Redistribution of Derived Data is allowed if:
    • It is aggregated ≥ 10-minute intervals or further transformed so individual ticks cannot be reconstructed; and
    • It includes prominent attribution “Source: Followme (derived from [Exchange]/Vendor data).”
  • Non-Display Use: Firms must declare usage and may incur additional exchange fees.
4. Vendor & Exchange Compliance
  • Users must comply with all applicable exchange rules (e.g., NASDAQ Global Data Agreements, CME Subscriber Agreements). FM may audit usage logs upon 10 business-days’ notice.
5. Reverse-Engineering & Data Scraping
  • Scraping, caching, or reverse-engineering Raw Market Data from Derived Data is strictly prohibited and may result in termination and legal action.
6. Attribution
  • Any public display of Derived Data must include attribution to Followme and, where required, the originating exchange or vendor.
7. Fees
  • Certain real-time feeds require per-user exchange fees. Additional charges apply for non-display or redistribution usage.
8. Enforcement & Penalties
  • Violations may result in suspension, termination, back-billing of fees, and legal action. Appeals may be submitted within 14 days via [email protected].
